Staff Product Manager – Diagnostics (Innovation & New Bets)
The Opportunity
MANUAL is looking for a Staff Product Manager to act as an internal founder and drive entirely new product opportunities. You’ll work at the intersection of healthcare innovation, patient needs, market trends, and technology, leading initiatives from discovery and validation through MVP launches and strategic decisions on scaling or pivoting.
This is a rare senior role with the autonomy to shape the future of our platform. You’ll influence the long-term product strategy, identify high-impact opportunities, and act with entrepreneurial ownership to explore new clinical services, conditions, or business models. If you thrive in ambiguity, love zero-to-one challenges, and have a founder mindset, you’ll find this role uniquely rewarding.
What you’ll do
Identify and size market opportunities, conduct user research, and analyse emerging trends to surface high-potential areas for platform expansion.
Develop, test, and validate ideas by creating business cases, product visions, experiments, and hypotheses to rapidly prioritise the most promising concepts.
Lead the design and development of MVPs in collaboration with engineering, design, clinical, and commercial teams.
Define success metrics, evaluate results, and make informed recommendations on whether to scale, pivot, or sunset initiatives.
Act as an internal founder, demonstrating entrepreneurial drive, strong ownership, and the ability to rally cross-functional teams behind new initiatives.
Influence the long-term roadmap and innovation strategy through strategic insights and market-informed recommendations.
Champion patient-centric innovation, ensuring every new initiative addresses real patient needs and aligns with our mission.
Who you are
Entrepreneurial experience is a strong plus—either as a founder, early-stage product leader, or someone who has launched new products or business lines.
Experienced operating in fast-paced, high-ambiguity environments; healthcare or telehealth experience is a strong plus.
Track record of taking ideas from concept through launch and early scaling.
Exceptional at synthesising market data, customer insights, and business analysis into actionable product and business strategies.
Strong communicator and influencer, able to align diverse stakeholders around new initiatives.
Comfortable with ambiguity, resourceful, and proactive in driving projects independently.
Deep curiosity about how technology can solve complex healthcare challenges and improve patient outcomes.
