Customer Experience Specialist
This is a rare opportunity to be one of the first members of a new Customer Experience Specialist team. We’re offering a new type of experience for our patients and you’ll play an exciting role in helping us build our patient experience tools and processes from scratch.
You'll be a key hire that is crucial to the success of Voy and the Patient Experience Team over the coming months and beyond.
Your goal is to create an experience so good our patients have to tell their friends about us. You'll be the first person our patients speak to and you'll advocate their voice throughout the company.
You’re someone who makes things happen despite ambiguity and can calmly handle periods of breakneck scaling and moments of chaos. You have a passion for solving real patient problems as well as design and innovation.
What you'll be doing
Helping solve our patient problems with world class service when they get in touch
Being the voice of Voy and working with patients to help guide them through their journey.
Working closely with various teams to make sure we’re unblocking any potential barriers patients may face
Creating and improving processes that allow us to help patients in the most effective way possible
What we need from you
You're good at explaining things to people and you are thoughtful and empathetic in all of your interactions
You have some experience working in a customer support role within a scaling tech startup environment. Bonus points for a healthtech company.
You see feedback as a gift, and constantly look for ways to improve your work and grow as a person
You're super organised, live by your calendar and know how to develop processes to make sure you never miss a beat!
You have excellent written and verbal skills in English
You have a "roll up your sleeves" mentality where you're willing to learn and jump into unknown situations
You are excited about healthcare and what we're building at Voy
As this is a remote based role, where you will have specific shifts and times you must be available, you’ll need consistent access to internet and power, so you can work uninterrupted
Working patterns
Our Customer Experience team works on a rotating shift pattern to support our customers throughout the day, including weekends. Shifts can start as early as 9:00am and may finish as late as 11:00pm.

What we offer
Salary of up to R23,000 p.m. depending on experience
