Marketing Data Specialist
About the Role
We are seeking a Data Marketing Specialist with a strong background in B2C marketing performance analytics to help us drive smarter, faster, and more customer-focused decisions. You will play a key role in measuring and optimizing marketing campaigns across digital channels, generating actionable insights, and supporting growth strategies through data.
You’ll work cross-functionally with marketing, growth, product, and data teams to help scale customer acquisition, retention, and engagement through a deep understanding of customer behavior and channel performance.
Key Responsibilities
- Analyze and interpret customer and campaign data from various sources (CRM, paid media, email, social, web analytics, etc.).
- Develop and maintain dashboards to monitor KPIs such as CAC, CLV, ROAS, churn rate, and conversion funnel performance.
- Create and optimize segmentation strategies for targeted campaigns.
- Design and evaluate A/B tests and experimentation roadmaps for marketing initiatives.
- Work closely with media and CRM teams to assess and improve acquisition, retention, and reactivation strategies.
- Build data models and insights that support customer journey analysis and lifecycle marketing.
- Identify key growth opportunities through predictive analysis and behavioral data.
- Present insights and recommendations to marketing stakeholders in a clear and actionable format.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Statistics, Data Science, Economics, or related fields.
- 5+ years of experience in marketing data analysis in B2C companies (e-commerce, apps, retail, D2C, etc.).
- Strong command of SQL, Excel, and marketing data tools.
- Experience with BI platforms (e.g., Looker, Tableau, Power BI, Google Data Studio).
- Familiarity with Google Analytics (GA4), Meta Ads, Google Ads, email marketing platforms, and CRM systems.
- Experience with A/B testing tools (e.g., Optimizely, VWO) and statistical analysis.
- Strong business acumen and the ability to connect data with marketing strategy.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience in customer segmentation, LTV modeling, churn prediction, or cohort analysis.
- Knowledge of Python or R for data modeling is a plus.
- Experience working in a high-growth B2C environment (e.g., marketplace, subscription services, mobile apps).
- Ability to translate complex data into simple, actionable insights for non-technical stakeholders.
- Comfortable working in a fast-paced, data-driven team with shifting priorities.
