Senior Finance Manager – Projects & Controls
We’re hiring a Senior Finance Manager to strengthen our financial control environment and lead a range of high-impact initiatives across audit, systems, forecasting, and business expansion. As the business scales, this role will be instrumental in building scalable, technology-enabled finance processes that reduce manual effort, improve visibility, and enhance compliance.
Reporting to the Group Financial Controller, you’ll work cross-functionally with Finance, Operations, Tech, and external advisors to drive both day-to-day rigour and long-term transformation within the finance function.
What you'll do
Controls & Audit Readiness
- Review and enhance internal controls in line with audit feedback and compliance best practices. With a focus on scalable technologically lead solutions
- Own balance sheet governance across entities, ensuring reconciliations are timely, complete, and well-documented.
Projects & Strategic Initiatives
- Deliver finance-led system projects such as fixed asset module implementation, ERP/payroll integrations, and support for warehouse management workflows.
- Lead the rollout of cash flow forecasting processes across group entities and support consolidated balance sheet forecasting.
- Partner on M&A activity, including finance due diligence, onboarding of new entities, and setting up foundational control processes in new geographies or verticals
- Identify and implement scalable processes and technology to support business growth, reduce manual work, and future-proof the finance function.
What we need from you
- Qualified accountant (ACA preferred), with 8+ years of experience in financial control, audit, or finance project roles.
- Strong technical grounding in UK GAAP / FRS 102.
- Prior experience preparing for audits in multi-entity or group structures.
- Hands-on experience with NetSuite is essential.
- Exposure to system integration or ERP optimisation projects is highly desirable.
- Experience supporting M&A or new market entry is a plus.
