Category Founder – (Commercial, Product & Growth Founder)
We are seeking a world-class Intrapreneur to join MANUAL and build the next category-defining wellness business from zero. This is a unique opportunity for a bold, commercially minded product builder to launch and grow a new health business in the UK.
As an EIR, you’ll operate as a founder-in-residence, with the freedom to shape a business end-to-end—from product concept to landing page to growth strategy. You’ll lead a small, nimble team of 1–2 people and build with speed, creativity, and a sharp eye for value creation. We’re especially looking for someone who combines strong analytical thinking with creative instincts, and has a well-developed sense of design and product taste.
This role is tailor-made for pure builders—people who love to experiment, get things live quickly, and iterate relentlessly. While strategic thinking is critical, this job is also about hands-on execution to deliver both growth and exceptional patient experiences.
What you'll do
Product-Market Fit & New Category Development
- Identify unmet customer needs and define a compelling and differentiated value proposition
- Define and validate the first version of the product and business model
- Build for scale while starting with scrappy, fast MVPs and clear metrics for success
Hands-On Building
- Design and launch customer-facing experiences, including landing pages, user flows, and funnels
- Define product concepts and MVP specs for the category launch
- Brief and shape creatives, copy, and brand to support conversion and retention
- Own all core assets required to go live—from positioning to pricing to customer experience
Growth Strategy & Execution
- Lead and execute the go-to-market strategy to acquire the first 10,000 patients
- Develop channels and tactics for acquisition, retention, and revenue generation
- Optimize the full funnel through rapid experimentation and iteration
- Use data and insights to make fast decisions and learn what works
Who you are
- 5+ years of experience (ideally with an entrepreneurial or founder-level role, or substantial entrepreneurial side projects)
- Proven ability to launch and grow a product or business from scratch
- A hands-on builder who thrives in ambiguity and moves fast
- Commercially minded with deep customer empathy
- Strong problem-solving and critical thinking skills
- Ability to create landing pages, define product specs, and shape growth initiatives
- A strategic thinker who also enjoys the grind of daily execution
- A strong balance of analytical skills and creative instincts, with a sharp sense of design and taste
- Ideally, send us examples of products you’ve launched—success is not required, but initiative and learning are key
