Senior Financial & Accounting Analyst
ROLE DESCRIPTION
We are seeking a Senior Financial & Accounting Analyst to join our team in Brazil!
You will be a key member of our Finance team, with a strong focus on accounting, financial reporting, accounts payable and budget control. You will help us understand our financial performance, improve processes, and ensure accurate, timely reporting to support Manual’s continued growth. This is a high-impact role with cross-functional exposure and opportunities to shape the way we operate as we scale.
RESPONSIBILITIES
Carry out accounting entries, bank and accounting reconciliations, and ensure the accuracy of financial information
Prepare and analyse financial statements, P&L reports and balance sheets, identifying trends, variances and key insights
Support budget control processes, monitoring performance and identifying opportunities for improvements
Drive improvements in accounting and financial operations, implementing process enhancements to increase efficiency and accuracy
Ensure accurate accounts payable processes and assist with maintaining financial compliance and internal controls
Support external audits requests
Support tax requests
Collaborate with internal stakeholders across departments to provide financial insights that support business decisions
QUALIFICATIONS
Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Business Administration or Economics. Active CRC is a plus
6+ years’ experience as a Financial/Accounting Analyst, preferably in high-growth or tech-driven environments. Previous experience in a Big4 is a nice to have
Solid knowledge of accounts payable, financial processes and controls, and accounting principles/standards
Proficiency with financial software and tools - strong Excel skills required. Experience with NetSuite is a plus
Proficiency in English (fluency preferred)
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to interpret financial data and provide actionable insights
Ability to manage tasks and projects simultaneously, with excellent attention to detail and a focus on meeting deadlines
Humility and ability to collaborate with colleagues across countries
